David Sweet

Mr. David Sweet is Corporate Consultant and Subject Matter Expert for Boeing in aviation operations, technology, and policy, with special focus on the Joint Network Enabled Operations (NEO) spiral development projects. He also serves on the Joint NEO Executive Steering Committee and was recently elected Co-Chair of the JPDO’s Net Centric Working Group.  Previously, Mr. Sweet had over 23 years with Boeing working on various programs and strategic initiatives.  He was Director of Advanced Projects for Boeing’s Air Traffic Management group.  Earlier Boeing assignments included new product development (NPD), mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and Network Centric Operations (NCO) Engineering and Analysis. He also worked policy issues and was Director of Strategic Initiatives for Boeing’s Washington D.C. Operations. Mr. Sweet was earlier a Research Staff Member with the Institute for Defense Analyses. Prior to joining Boeing, he specialized in advanced Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Electronic Command/Control Systems and was a Principal Systems Analyst with ARINC Research. Earlier he spent seven years as an Air Force Officer, including Aircraft Systems development and operational control.
